East Midlands sector research
Client
All LSC's in the East Midlands
Date completed
September 2006
Project description
The goal of the research was to provide a detailed assessment of the current and future skill needs of employers for each local LSC in the East Midlands for different occupational areas within each key sector.
The main focus of the research was on priority sectors and Sector Skill Council 'footprints', but will encompass a total of more than 50 industrial sectors.
The sector research programme involved a range of components including stakeholder interviews, targeted literature reviews, detailed analysis of the recently released Working Futures employment forecasts and a range of other supporting analysis.
The output from the project helped underpin sector related work of all East Midlands LSC's and key partners.
