Economic and Social Assessment of the London North Learning Skills Council area
Client:
North London LSC
Date completed:
February 2001
Project description:
The project involved a very detailed review of the economic, skills and wider social issues facing north London and policy implications for the LSC and key partners.
An important element of the study was the examination of issues not only at a north London level, but also at an individual borough level and in many instances at a ward level.
The research involved:
The research resulted in a detailed strategic document to underpin discussions
by stakeholders on practical action to tackle identified key issues facing
the area.
In addition to a main report and summary a detailed data report was produced.
The outputs also included 40 maps to illustrate spatial issues in more
detail. Findings were presented at a number of workshops.
