Project description:
Labour Market Solutions in conjunction with the Regional Centre for Neighbourhood
Renewal undertook a programme of research work for Connexions in North London
to inform strategy and service provision in relation to vulnerable young
people.
The research included:
Analysis of Prospects destination data for 2001 and 2002 Haringey
school leavers linked to key school data at an individual student level
A destination survey for 2001 school leavers who have not continued
their education within Haringey schools
Assembly of data and information on vulnerable groups, including
interviews with agencies and the development of specific proposals for
further action in this area
A survey of 'stayers' within Haringey schools who were year 11
students in 2001
A survey of current year 11 pupils within Haringey schools
Ward based deprivation analysis linked to key outcomes of the
above research
