Labour market disadvantage within North London

Project description:
This project examined a number of different aspects of labour market disadvantage and social exclusion in north London including:
  • An assessment of the extent of labour market disadvantage
  • The profile of those disadvantaged in the labour market
  • The changing dynamics of labour market disadvantage
  • Long term unemployment and the 'core group' of unemployed
  • Wider measures of social exclusion
    •


    In order to demonstrate the spatial distribution of labour market disadvantage and social exclusion within north London a series of maps were produced as part of the project.
    The research findings were presented at a number of dissemination workshops.
