Assessing arts learning provision in the West Midlands

Project description:
The project involved a number of components as follows:

  • The identification and mapping of existing arts based learning provision in the West Midlands
  • An assessment of current arts learning provision
  • Establishing employer needs through telephone survey and face to face interviews
  • Provider and learner focus groups

    • The main output of the project involved the production of a detailed report on arts based learning from a provider and employer perspective, including a structured analysis of the main issues.

    A major dissemination event to launch the report was undertaken, involving providers, employers and other key stakeholders.
